Is this bug still going around?! In which: Passenger in LAV will die from collision
Passengers in HAV will die from collision
I yet again have video of another bug, I just happen to be lucky to have had a youtuber be in the same match as me and he coincidently recorded this game.
Description: I was in a tank with my mate duna2002, then a murder taxi (on our team) hits the rear left of the tank as I remember it while I was gunning from the inside of the tank. Then the LAV blew up killing himself and me (while I was inside the tank!!!!)

At 1:52 look at the kill feed for proof of my presence in the tank.
Not important but at 2:46 ******** commentator with voice changer (I mean wtf)
At 3:03 the tank is in front of the LAV while I am in it .(you can see how the tank says duna2002+2 pssengers)
Its weird watching this from his perspective because as I remember it, he crash into the tank but still his car died, why do I in the tank have to die with him?
I did not have any lag this game but I think he did, which is why at 2:58 he could not run over that guy. This lag may have caused his perspective to differ from mine.
Now CCP, the part that doesn't make sense, I know he hit the tank for sure (as I saw him with my own eyes) which is why there is no kill screen to show who killed him with AV weaponry etc. But take a look, at 3:13, the kill feed shows *KingThunderBolt clone died* *Evolution-7 Baloch*
You have some explaining to do as duna2002 tank did not explode, nor did anyone else in the tank die apart from me!
This was a common problem after Uprising 1.2 and I think it is making a return. |

The ad in the video generated a quit on my mouse. Oddly enough.
However if you are the Front Gunner in a Tank, being rammed by a LAV will kill you, on occasion. I have lived through them but normally I am in my Heavy suit when I survived. Sorry, that is one thing I have not tracked nor logged.
That has always been true. The next updates will address some LAV collision issues and Might effect this as well. Time and testing will tell. Although a Dev informing us would be better, don't hold your breath. |
