I was soooo stoned, was that the match that I crashed like 6 derpships trying to take back the lost roof/mushroom? Yeah, that was not my finest hour lol. Only a few ways to beat EoN briefly described below.

Meta-game them... convince them to disband becuase its good for them and the community. Didnt work.

Beat them square up... LoI failed, was the best chance the rest of the Dust514 community had imho. Many reasons for the failure to list, but you all know the story.

Beat them in numbers (quantity over quality)... open world, EvE, maybe. But when matches are fixed in both timers and 16v16, this simply cannot be done.

Beat them by over loading their timers... If you overload their timers so they cannot defend, districts you will take. But hold onto them? No.

EoN won this PC game based on understanding and grasping the fundamentals of this flawed game design. They won by creating a group/system that maximized on this flawed design and used it to their advantage. They are smart, good gun game, blah blah blah.

Unfortunately, the only way to truly "beat them" is to wait for them to quit. Its sad, but as many have said before.. blame CCP for allowing it to happen, then blame the Players for cotinuing to take advantage of broken ass mechanics to allow them the safety of a 5% fat free blue donut.
