No its not crater lake.
This is a new mega terrain is a place impacted by creators before and will contain 3 maps in it. |

Okay, Maps are built into this big 5kmx5km area we call this the Terrain. We're getting a new one.
Within the terrain are zoned off areas, outlined by your infamous redline. These are battlegrounds we're getting 3 of them
Within each battlezone is multiple sockets that are occupied by small, medium and large buildings at random (but they're going to start theming them so gallente small stuff with gallente big stuff.
Largest of these buildings are known as outposts, we're getting one new one as well.
Then how the entire map feels, time of day, and type of dirt, weather, skybox and the sorts are known as moods, we're getting a few more of those as well.
Other than the Terrain and Battlefield many other things are interchangeable. |

What is CCP Praetorian referring to as Surface Infrastructure then, if it INCLUDES large sockets and medium sockets? Is an SI and a battleground the same thing...? Or did he misspeak?
Outposts = Surface Infrastructure, so any maps with the lab installed on it will get the new outpost on it. The other two are 'place holders' for now. Which is the cargo hub and production facility. Our current collection of outposts may also turn into SI themselves one day as well. |
