We were not able to reproduce this issue the way players specified. But we will continue investigating this issue.
get into a tank and play some games.
watch as things disapear within your weapons range.
there its now reproduced. it happens literally every single game.
just get into a tank and wait for the invisable swarms to hit you (single vehicles render for infantry closer than infantry renders for vehicles)
seriosuly just get into a tank and play actual games on the live server.
your custom PCs on private servers wont do it. get on a ps3 and join the real players in a tank, do it for a week in your spare time.
i promise yull pull your hair out eventually |

One doesn't even need a HAV. A turret in Domination mode on the Spine Crescent map can verify it. It's weird seeing the tacnet showing where invisible people are. |

Considering that one cannot get in a HAV and not experience the problem I wonder what the heck they are doing?
Get in any Rail Gun HAV with a squad mate next to you with a Sniper Rifle. Have the sniper pick out a target past 400m and the Tanker will see ... nothing, unless it is big. Like a Null Cannon big or an Installation. Yet I pop Installations all the time that I cannot see. Just try to get it where it should be and look for the pip to change color. If you fire three or four rounds you should get your +100.
The best funny/stupid example is when a Drop Ship flys by in an arc.
After 450m it just disappears. Poof. Render optimized cloaking ... without any SP cost.
I would guess that the Devs are playing on PS3 Dev systems with twice the memory. That might make a difference. It shouldn't but if they cannot see these problems it does make me question their setup.
Although they could be playing on PCs. It is an UnReal engine and for testing art and such it should work well enough. Except for having more graphics memory than all the memory in our PS3s thus rendering the draw distance testing invalid (he-he-he). |

I love when I'm on Line Harvest and ADS down my turret at the forgegunner on the next tower who's smacking my tank, but I hop out and poof! there he is. |

Haha, kinda like they couldn't even reproduce the old no-wp-from-skrimish until I gave them step-by-step instructions ;).
To be fair though people make conflicting reports, confuse multiple issues, give wague explanations and are just plain wrong at times... but still.. |
