I would like to see a device that hides all players within it's range (basically, the opposite of an Active Scanner) |

Less blackout.
Perhaps, just go with the old school terminology "Jammer".
Yus please. More Ewar is fun.
Stasis Web units too. They should work like these, you plob them down, and they slow enemy's down in like a 20-30 m radius. |

Yeah, jammers would be good.. instead of hiding all players on your minimap, the better solution is just to play static across your minimap for about 30 seconds.... at least that way you know you're being jammed. |

What if we combined the idea of a jammer and a stasis web into a gun that fires dropsuit disruption darts. The disruption darts could slow down movement, shield recovery and jam their radar for a set period of time. |

Imagine this scenario: you and your squad have just tried to take a Null Cannon but have been spotted before you could succeed, now the other team is chasing after you relentlessly and you need to disappear, you drop a Blackout Device and no longer show up on their radar's. End Scenario
Blackout Devices could also be used in a more offensive way by activating it near a Null cannon you are about to try and take.
Basic Blackout Devices would block out signals for everybody within range, while more advanced devices would only block out players on the opposing team. What squad? |
