It already seems off balance with anti vehicle weapons, and then you give these players the ability to recall a damaged vehicles. Why? It's really unfair when you spend all of your ammo, and time taking down half a tanks or Logi Lav's HP with a few people just to have it disrepair right in front of you. I think you shouldn't be able to recall a damage vehicle. You should still be able to recall a fixed vehicle. This would make players have to stop and repair there vehicles before recalling. |

My suggestion: A chance that a damaged vehicle gets broken on transit.
Example:
Shield: 900/2000 Armor: 500/3000
=> 1400/5000 ~ 72 % to break on transit |

Just have an RDV come out to pick the damn thing up. That's already what the message says.
Problem solved. |

Should be no recall until 30 seconds after the last damage your vehicle recieved, including sniper rounds.
FYI please don't act like AV is a painstaking role, its quick, cheap and very easy. |

If your spending half your ammo to kill a tank, you're doing something wrong. My shield tanked Gunnlogi can withstand 4 Forge Gun hits from an advanced forge gun. That ain't half your ammo. More like a quarter. DS take even less. Logi LAVs are the only legitimate claim here, and they need a major reworking anyway, keeping the strong tank, and getting a more useful rep tool. Once the collision nerf hits, which as a vehicle pilot, I cannot be more excited for, Logis wont be the murder taxis they are now.
Until vehicles get countermeasures to disrupt incoming AV, we should be able to recall vehicles whenever we want. After countermeasures are provided, then yes there should be some sort of delay. But not before. |

if you want vehicle recall to be eliminated, then you shouldnt be able to switch dropsuits at supply depots, all in fairness right? |

But supply depots have been nerfed enough already!, switching dropsuits used to heal you and standing next to a supply depot would replenish your armor. The first one was pretty OP though... |

it's not painstaking, it's simply high-risk, and requires a high level of aggression to do correctly (assuming you're actually on the ground participating in the fight) and generally is one of the most hilariously fun things to do. I love skidding LAVs out and using them for cover while I rock toe to toe with a tank. |

well switching from amed suit to hevy suit would replenish all hp...
but we have much bigger problem than that anyways..
like how its so dang hard to get a tank with lots of armor and shields...
u cant fit hardly anything on them and yes i would like to have a tank with 300 cpu and 7k pg..just so i can fit a heavy repper and 4 180 reinforced steel plates on it..
along with a mlt shield resistor
a shield booster.
2 mlt blaster and a std blaster.....
oh and i have looked at a maddy fitted this way it costs about 500k lols...
even though it was way over the cpu and pg parts....
and now im sick of rail gun sniping..im sick of sniping in general...im also sick of proto bears.. and because of redline snipers and all snipers in general i have inbvented a new thing to buy for the regular assualt user to counter act sniping please welcome..
the trollship!
specificaly designed to kill that pesky sniper.
GET YOURS TODAY!..
shotguns not included..
player responsible for all deaths in redzone...

I agree. I spent about 10 minutes forge-gunning the same LAV over and over again .
It wouldt die, he disappeared about 30 secs and came back full health. So i called in an LAV of my own shot at him and then Followed him. I saw the dude had already called another LAV and was recalling the one he had damaged. >..> So i shot the *****, destroyed his LLAV and stole the new one.
But this doesnt change the fact Recalling heavily damaged vehicles is stupid. And i agree with OP. Only fixed or over 2 thirds of HP should be able to be recalled. |
