My absolute favorite maps are
Line Harvest + Spine Crescent
They are just a lovely mix of CQC spaces and open terrain.
Manus peak tends to make me a little uncomfortable, like I'm standing outside on the street in just my underwear. The other maps just make me angry with their city spaces geared to CQC fighting it can be a real treat trying to knock an enemy blob off an objective.

I'm more a fan of Skim Junction and Iron Delta. All the other maps are too advantageous for railgun tanks, and if placed correctly they can completely negate the presence of my Python. It also depends on the outpost, for example the communications outpost makes me any AV's *****. The biomass outpost has lots of high places for forge gunners or swarm launchers to hang out, but provides a decent amount of cover from outside railguns. The orbital artillery outpost has a good amount of cover due to walls on all sides, however it is lacking in escape routes should a blaster tank or ground based AV start taking shots at me. |

Most balanced (generally the closest fights) is the map with the L and straight pipes.
My personal favorite is the grey mushroom compound followed closely by the green mushroom compound.
Least favorite is Manas Peak due to all the redline sniping/rail tanking. |

Yeah I just learned the names b4 I posted this so I could sound knowledgable on the subject.
bridge = spine crescent pointy rocks = manus peak
I think the maps need to be built more like the bridge map. It hits the sweet spot because both sides have easy access to the city and the outside while the majority of the maps shove most of the combat into the city. |

They all feel pretty much the same to me, I just hate that small 5 point map with the big center structure.

You mean the one with B base on it and then a bridge leading to A?
That one for me is.... ok... I just hate it when I have to play an ambush on it. The map basically becomes a 2 sec tournament of who can get uplinks onto the center platform the fastest. Then it becomes how-many-blue-berries-are-going-to-attempt-to-attack-from-underneath-the-stairs-rather-than-come-from-behind-where-the-enemy-doesn't-hold-the-higher-ground game. That can get a little stressful.
I love ambush on Line Harvest though. |

My favourite maps are the new ones we will hopefully get soon.
Tired of the old ones, CCP.
Tired of the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over.
Please get a few new ones out.

Hear, hear!
I'm all for new content though I humbly respect the time and effort it takes to produce new content. Maps are probably even trickier to make than weapons because you can never be certain when you first design it if that tiny tiny hill you put in front of a CRU is going to throw off the balance of the battlefield.
I also can't stress enough how marvelously free to play this game is. They're basically going to give me new maps and guns for free unlike BF3 where I paid $50 for the game and then they demanded another 50 more for all of their 'new' content. 'New content' to them apparently means building more CQC maps and rehashing the exact same weapons into different skins and then slapping a $25 price tag on it. thx EA for being a douche... again. |

The old manus peak was a favorite of mine, along with the old skim junction.
Those are still my favorite maps, although I like the old versions more. |

I'm so sick of playing these same 3 maps. I guess you could be considered lucky if you actually played all 3 in one session, instead of the same map for 17 matches in a row. Same tactics, same installations, same everything. HAVs can park on every hack console and everything is just conveniently wide enough for a LAV to crawl through. No real CQC available on these maps, unless you count spawning on the enemy's side in Ambush.
Favorite? The snowy one from Halo (1).

BF3 runs only 6 maps and I must of played that game almost everyday for a year. The same six maps, one of them, noshar canals, was almost unplayable because it was so imbalanced.
Of course they offered more maps if you were willing to pay the price of a brand new game for them. Or, if you were fortunate enough to have a psn plus account, they finally offered their 'premium' package for free. I did a massive facepalm after seeing that. |
