You know those epic moments, when you do something crazy/heroic/derpy?
What if CCP would add some achievements to Dust, so you can brag to all your psn friends about what you did in Dust?
My number one on the list, would be this one :p
Grand Theft Auto
Steal an enemy LAV and go on a rampage, running over 5 enemies.
So, which other achievements would you guys like CCP to add? |

I'd rather not have achievements. They force players into doing stupid things just so they can get a digital badge to brag about, which is even more ridiculous than the challenge they had to complete in the first place. Make your own goals, immortalize your own favorite moment by telling friends about it. Don't rely on some digital trophy to prove you did something neat. |

Run a total of 26 miles.
Kill 20 players in a match in a tank.
Touched everything in your merc quarters.
Played a PC match.
Won a PC match.
Accidentally hit your LAV into someone else's and blow up.
Revive 50 players.

i HATE with a passion trophies for online games
most of the times they are cheap impossible and VERY time consuming

While I absolutely hate the concept of trophies and achievements, I feel they are pointless, if CCP just had to add some for dust I could see them all being troll trophies. For example, lose 10 mil isk in one public match to unlock the trophy 'More isk than brains', or suicide 50 times in one PC match to unlock the gold trophy of 'Not a team player'.
I could see those, would be so stupid that only the craziest/richest players would do it. |

What I really want to see is the EVE and DUST markets actually both player-run. I know how it worked in EVE, so why can't it work in DUST? But anyway, achievements in this game would ruin it. |

Chubby Chaser - Heal 5000 EHP using triage tools ( in one match).
Trickshot - Kill someone with a mass driver with a direct hit (hahaha).
Cant cook wont cook- suicide with a grenade killing an enemy.
Derp - Last 5 minute in a sica.
Star pupil - Finish Academy in 1 match.
Assistant - score 20 assists in a single match
weapon master- use every weapon in 1 match
Roadkill - Run down 10 people in one match using a LAV
Roadkill master - Run down 10 people in one match using a HAV
OCD(Objective compulsive disorder) - Hack all objectives in one match |

Redshirt - Die the most number of times in the match
Harsh Landing - Die from forgetting to use your inertial dampners
Whoops? - First to die on your own team
Mad Bomber - Destroy 50 HAVs with Remote Explosives
I'm not a Doctor, I'm a Logibro! - Revive 50 players with a Protype Nanite Injector
I'll make it fit! - Skill Level 5 in both Dropsuit Engineering and Electronics
Gotta Have em All! - Skill Level 3 in all basic Dropsuit types
Overachiever - Get at least Skill Level 1 in ALL skills

Of course you have right - making your own goals will always own digital badge.
The main advantage of achievement system is that people forcing ourselves to keep playing game just to get all achievements it offer. Beside that I think it's good for people that have lack of imagination on what they can actually do in game, it may brings them a purpose. |
