I'd like to just list some stuff that most pilots would love to have in this game, hopefully ccp can implant them by the 1.5 patch. These are not any order they are all listed in random, however i'd love to see if people agree with the list so i can put it in the Feedback/Request tab.
So lets get started: -price nerf - other races get vehicle love -More HP and resistances -SP for spawns, scanning, etc - ability to let blueberries know they need to bail out (useful for logi dropships) - laser turrets ( or any other racial turrets) - The ability to choose it you want turrets on your ship so you can save some pg/cpu -Counter measures (these are a must) -fix landing ( i don't find anything wrong with them but some people do, especially new players) -warning system ( also a must. it would be awesome to have warning forge guns as well) - standard, adv, proto ( i don't know if they would do this in 1.5 but it would be awesome to have em, all vehicles as well) - small rail guns getting a buff!! - passengers able to shoot from seat ( some people want it some don't) - Not knowing rdv (its cloaked) making it easier to get killed by it - first-person aim cam for ADS
Also couple of things that people want but ccp didn't really touch on it too much: -other aerial type vehicle and larger aerial type vehicle -pilot drop suits (people are saving up for it but not 100% if its even coming in 1.5, hopefully its part of the balance. Not sure if ccp thought of this but one of the reason dropship pilots are easily killed are because of the dam maps. Some quite large but not big enough! (also this would speed up the processes of us getting jets!).
Hopefully this is what us pilots want (i know i agree with most of these stuff here, but not the passenger shooting but what the hell lets see what ccp wants to do about it.) If there are stuff i missed please post em, i want ccp to look at what we want and not (bomber derpships).

So increasing the cost of dropships and buffing it in return? I'm not sure whether people might like that. |

bout sums it up.
I suppose counter measures are the equivalent of the fact that HAVs and LAVs can move 2 feet and be behind cover to block tons of AV where, in the air, everyone is aiming at you and you just get to die. |

If something is worth it then people will spend money and time on it, however dropships right now cost a lot and cant tank much. Which makes it useless when it comes to real battles. Something that i always wondered was the coding in bf3. In bf3 and rpg can one shot kill an attack heli but one shoot doesn't disable a tank, hopefully ccp can do things like that. |

A price cut Slower forge gun projectiles A lock on warning. (pretty sure LAV's have one) but at the very least a price cut or maybe higher default resists on ADS's I mean the LLAV gets ridiculous resists with just passives why can the ADS. |

OK, counter measures are only good for swarms.
What if we had a shield overcharge mod that negated all rail and FG DMG for 5 secs and goes dead after one hit with a 45-60 sec recharge time? |

Great idea! i'd add on the list if people would really want this cuz i know i do, but the penalty should be that you get to use only one type of countermeassure so that you cant spam. For ex: in bf3 when both the gunner and the pilot had flares it was really hard to kill em, so if dust let players use both countermeassure agianst forge and swarms then it wont be fair. |

Seeing as CCP develops about 2 of those ideas per month, and then distributes it in a patch, you're looking at about 18 months, which is a pretty damn long time. I think by then, I would have tinkered my PS3 into a toaster.

I think a propper way to buff dropships is
(Racial Dropship skill) - 2% shield or Armour per level (depending on race)
(Racial Assault Dropship) 5% shield or Armour resistances per level (depending on race)
(Racial Logi Dropship) 3% decrease in CPU and PG per level for shield extenders or armour plates per level ( depending on race)
ALL these dropship skills should work backwards and forwards for all dropships
ie someone who has all three Caldari dropship skills to 5 will recieve 10% extra shields, 25% shield resistance AND 15% decrease of CPU and PG for their shield extenders ON ANY Caldari dropship they pilot minus the militia viper. |

I would suggest getting the cloaking modules for a counter measure. If they can't see you they can't hi5 you and it would help out the weaker LAV's as well without being game breaking. |

This was said once before by a ccp blog (when they used to say things about vehicles) but its been so long and the idea of a cloaked ship behind enemy and dropping friendlies is just awesome! Hopefully though ccp thinks about em and tries to put them in. |

Some of the skill books in the upgrade vehicle category are just so useless. But the worst i've seen is the logi skill, where it reduces cpu and costs the same skill points (3 mil to lvl5) as an attack ship, but the attack ones give you (i don't remember on top of my head) 2% resistance and 1% damage. |
