They're really just jumping on this genre abit hard, aren't they? All the people who like these games will be fragmented among which has their favorite flavor, and they'll burn out rapidly if they try to play them all. Then the guys making other kinds of games, AKA anything not MMOFPSy, will reap the benefits.
Unless they all have horrible cheating and no moderators like Planetside 2 did on PC, then we'll always have DUST. |

kinda awesome they're building a flight sim first, maybe it's easier to balance a game around around a flight sim instead of the other way around. balance air combat first and then slowly add ground units. this strategy worked well for the pc mmo world war 2 online. |

It may well be more successful on the PS4, if it uses different servers, as the PS4 is harder to cheat on than the PC. Also, GotY awards, and any other 'gaming press' should be looked at with a grain of salt. Even if you don't believe the high level tin foil of them being paid off and bribed many of them are horribly biased or only care about certain aspects.
Also, a little dig at your character seeing as everyone just HAS to do one on GD, if you've really given up on DUST for PS2, why are you still here? :3 |

I've been playing war thunder for a good month or so. Anyone saying that war thundee doesn't suffer from the same issues as dust, is delusional.
Russian planes are like the duvolle tac of war thunder. It takes any other plane a good five minutes of perfect shooting to take down each other. Russian planes can OHKO everything.
Nothing is explained, there are like six different ways you can be taken out. All of which I didn't learn about until they happened to me. The tutorials are pretty bare bones, just barely enough to learn how to play.
Game type options are also quite slim, more so than Dust since you can't even decide what game you want to play.
Don't get me wrong, I really like War Thunder just like I really like Dust. The two games use the same business model and development strategy. If you don't like Dust now and can't deal with the wait, don't even bother with War Thunder. |

You are not doing it any favors by attracting attention to it while it is plagued by unstoppable waves of hackers. Wait for that crap to blow over, go into hibernation, make the forums think you died or something, then return when PS2 is free of Terran Republic wallphasers :p
Or just point them to the Angry Joe review of the game. That's pretty good, features Galaxy stacking :p |

I am the Planetside 2 bomber for ps4! We are console players, I could care less what the pc servers are doing 8 months after release.
I am looking forward to ps4 version that will have none of the issues you claim pc version has.

In response to the one who said PS2 is doing poorly right now - So is DUST, people will come back because it's free, just like DUST. At least until it's not easily accessed, DUST won't be easily accessed once PS4 drops, for 2 reasons.
1 - It's bad, no one will go out of their way to play a bad game. Accept Iron w--Mobius here, and people like him (Fanboys)
2 - Too many people are trading in PS3's + Whatever else to get to PS4/XB1 value so they can get it.
Besides PS2 will be perfectly fine for the exact same reason you claim DUST will be fine. It's free, and people can come back whenever they want, that argument doesn't ONLY apply to DUST, so stop acting like it does. Besides, a spike in population will follow once it hits PS4. Even if you believe the population will drop afterwards, you can't damn the game based off that evidence because...Hehehe...The same thing happened to DUST at release. |
