I really don't get it. 3-6 missiles that directly hit a dropship should be enough to take down it's shields almost, but installations and forge guns can blow it up/make it crash 3 times faster... Wat. |

My Python is laughing at your swarm launcher. However, I will tell you, get 3 proto swarm launchers in one place and start firing and you will rip a dropship from the sky. |

Well maybe because shields are not very effective against shields. That probably your best answer there. |

Exactly comon u expect to solo kill something that without fittings on a militia variant is more expensive that ur proto suits with protogear. Dude get even 2 guys togeather with decent swarms and if the pilot makes a decent mistake he's screwed. Get 3 swarmers and a dropship will get ripped from the sky unless it happens to be a decent fit costing over 1mill isk where if the pilot is good he can get away.
All u ground pounders expect to take on something that took months of gametime to get the sp for and atleast 6 matches to get the money for just 1 fit. And u want to do that solo with ur cheap gear and suits. **** off its bad enough forgers are accurate little ***** with the ability to take out something as large as a bus and over 5x the tank as are dropships. Instillations arnt so bad cause they have the drawbacks to account for taking us out and in most cases were a dumb ass for getting taken out.
Dropships need a fix as we are currently the only vehicles that can't possible survive in a decent game where people know how to use av. Yet unlike tanks or lavs we can't hide we can barely fire back most the time we can't even see the graphics of a forge gun or swarm launcher, a slight bump by anything we go up in flames, and to top it off we cant earn the money in a match or 2 to replace are gear. **** me dropship pilots are eather begging for cash or running militia suits 80% of the time were logged in. And ur complaining that ur cheap ass swarm launcher ccan't solo kill a ******* flying brick. **** off as hole
Dropships have the most cons per pro out of any market item in game and only reason why u see them in the sky is cause of hard headed oldtimers like me who first flew them when they were decent even though u had to use ur belly to get kills. People like me who remember those times hope for a return and finds the most enjoyable aspect of the game flying around with the hardest to learn controls of the game, nothing but air between me and the swarmer shooting me, and helping my teammates by laying down decent fire on hard to reach places |

Once i read the horrible sentence for the topic made by the OP, it totally made sense to me, of course someone who is 9 years old would want their swarms that they camp with on a skyscraper to do more damage, because they don't know how to play the game any other way. |
