On the tin - I've made two suits with each and then zoomed on the same spot. No different.
While the tactical sniper rifle text (the one you get from just looking at the weapon in market) says it gets extra zoom (when you press the extra info button, it doesn't say this though, granted) |

IIRC - it used to have increased zoom. I swear I used them in chromosome and you have some level of increased zoom. It was noticeable. |

Maybe you should re-test them. In chromosome there was no difference, in uprising the zoom fidelity of standard variant rifles (charge included) was nerfed.
The tactical does offer a marginal increase in zoom fidelity. An easy way to test is standing in the same spot, finding a big structure to aim at, and then measuring the dimensions of each rifle when zoomed in to it. |

Ah, the days of the Farsight SR when an AUR SR was good for 1000m. With sharp shooter I made kills at 1300+m. Now, there is now way to see anything that far. But the graphics are pretty. |
