I agree, but CCP won't really pay much attention to a one-liner post :P
Why does it make more sense in your mind?
What are the downsides of having it as a heavy, compared to the downsides of having it as light? Likewise for upsides/advantages.

I don't understand how it makes sense from a lore point of view to have a light suit that can carry two light weapons. That is a lot of mass. The heavy having two lights makes more sense. I think what you are asking for is a variant on the scout with more killing power though, an idea I am not opposd to. What needs to happen in that case though is a transformation of the current suit into a scouting machine (ie a built in active scanner with the ability to mark targets). |

There used to be a scout suit with two light weapon slots, back in open beta. I forgot the name though, I think it was the black eagle scout, it was an officer suit though.
