Simple pick up a nanohive and carry walking around with it, I hate dropping it just to stock up 2 grenades in the middle of nowhere and having to leave it there. I'm sure this can be implemented easily! Walk over it and double tap [SQUARE] to pick it up |

Your not getting any response because your tactics are flawed. Just let this thread die and learn how to use your equipment effectively.
If you are really running around with a nanohive and using it just to reload grenades i suggest learning how to shoot a gun. Or spec into a mass driver. |

How about a new piece of equipment called the Nano-drone? It is similar to a 'hive except the drone has a severely reduced resupply capacities and this mystical nano drone can stick to teammates and constantly restock them until the Nanodrone runs out of nanites? The Nano drone would still pulse but in a tight radius so that it doesn't give away your position that easily but another teammate could squeeze in there if you would let him Oh, and did I mention you should be able to pick it up? |

What makes my tactics flawed? Stupid, even if you out of ammo completely and you drop it to restock, you should still be allowed to pick it up. And as for responses, if your going to respond like that then get out of this thread. Also, no the nanohive is not active while picked up, it just goes back to being a deployable with the amount of clusters left in the nanohive after it was used. This would make the game and job of logi-bro easier. Please think before you post. |

I could see this. Just apply the same recall mechanic as vehicles as the deployable should have to be deactivated before being picked up. |

I agree with deactivating, but the recal time is a bit long so I think just picking it up is good enough, its up to CCP really.

This should not be implemented as it takes away the tactical element of placing down nanohives in certain positions.
A nanohive needs to be positioned in a tactical spot just off of the frontline so that mercs that are in need can fall back to resupply.
Having a nanohive that can be picked up means that the logi class (as it is supposed to be used) will be useless.
PS if you are laying down a hive in the middle of nowhere to restock grenades then you need to learn how to play this TEAM game. |
