flying keeps me around. all my vehicle core skills are maxed out, i've taken a new approach to fitting my dropships after reading recent discussions and enjoy flying here to just up and quit. i'm not spending any more money until they adress the vehicle lock issue. the odd nose cannon kill brings a huge thrill, which i've been getting slowly more of lately. |

I'm just hoping CCP will do THEIR thing with the game to make it good... But still listen to us, of course, but they should just be like "HTFU" if they see something that we say is wrong and they think it's working fine. Just so anyone else complaining about it can't post about it again without getting hit with a link in the first reply. |

Dust sucks. I kept faith for a year and 2 months just to learn I'm not a part of the 'mainstream' class of assault suits - and therefor will be getting ignored for another half a year to a year. The only reason we're getting armor buffs are because assaults want to use them too.
CCP is bad and should feel bad. Until they learn to come to us before launching updates so we can tell them if it's good or not we're doomed to repeat uprising again and again.

IMO I think CCP should just drop down all of the racial weapons and drop suits and the medium armored vehicles, and the fighter jets, and the MTACS, and the everything else that got me hyped for this game, and then make patches to balance said content to where it hits the sweet spot. Also, some EVE connection should be in place by next year, or else I will have given up hope. |

I have debated this for a couple of weeks with myself wether to quit or continue on dust. After spending some cash on this game (mainly to test things and be PC ready when it dropped) I thought this was the reason I was grinding on, but have come to realise that is not the case.
I will be staying simply because, as frustrating and bad this game can be at times I will be proud to say I was a part of something that may be a part of gaming history as EVE has become.
Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to say that CCP will pull it off, but if they do......this will be a monster of a game.

The biggest problem Dust has right now is the management. They are not working in a cohesive manner and are just ahlf assing things. If dust development was half as good as EvE development; we would have found ourselves in a game beyond our wildest dreams.
Right now the development team is maing great strides with communication but that is not enough. They have to fall through with implementation and also see the community as PEERS and not feel insulted when they say that a mechanic is broken or useless. |

This is why I have good reason to accept that this game will share the same success as EVE Online! i think dust514 is made in China and EVE in Iceland its a big difference
