Kalante Schiffer Onikanabo Brigade Caldari State 387	Posted - 2013.08.16 11:15:00 - [9] - Quote ignore all of these people OP get yourself a monitor preferably with a 1ms, 2ms, 5ms input lag and change your resolution to 480 4:3 and turn off your aim assist since magnetism CCP cant even get it right. this should at least help your aiming. vets keep this a secret you know. some like it and some do not.

Thanks in advance.. change the X-Y Sensivity (@options) try different setting and choose the one which fits best for you ... when you use AR: aim at the upper torso and burst fire (tapping the fire button, try longer and shorter bursts till you get the hang on it) go only full auto when you have a perfect shot :-P

You're not alone majority of "pros" have adapted to the aiming, use strafe more then aiming to line up your target.. If you can't get the hang of it, save some isk, sit AFK in the MCC and wait a few weeks for 1.4.. Aim overhaul plus aim assist you should be able to wake up a pro.. Good luck

(Or a heavy because who can miss a heavy :) ) Short bursts are OK, but only when you can move the reticle with the recoil, learn your gun you will get there eventually. Dont stop moving. Ever. Practise aiming right whilst moving left and vice versa eventually you will be able to aim whilst your dancing Standing behind someone? Take the half a second to go for a Headshot, if you land it there dead or low HP, which means you can melee them for extra lols.

Its like being able to see through walls. Ever since getting a decent loner headset, my K/D has been skyrocketing. Enemy players spawning makes a distinct sound. Being able to pick it out (and what direction it came from) should save your ass when you hear it mid-hack. Always give up the hack to defend yourself, at least if you're alone or with a random, untrusted blueberry.

At first, you should be lowering it, I set mine all the way down to 0. That is the first step I took when I noticed that I sucked at this FPS in particular. The next thing you should do is really pay attention to the aiming mechanics in this game. Take note of how and why you aren't getting kills that you know you could've had if you were playing another FPS (or were a better shot). When you start to notice yourself doing a little better, that is an obvious indication that you're learning the game. At this point you should be able to raise your sensitivity to what you prefer, though I personally never go over 50. These are the steps I took to get where I am today, and i'm officially snug at a 3.00 K/D ratio. You may or may not end up where I am at, but that's fine, because you'll at least be doing a little better then you were.

Know the limitations of your weapon, don't charge a shotgun with a AR, don't run out in the open with a shotgun to get a AR. No point shooting a dude 100m+ with a AR, only going to cause aggro. 1V1: Strafe/Counter-strafe/Jump. If you're using a AR, fire in bursts Make sure you're always moving If you're using the AR, just hold down the trigger and tap r1 3-4 times in 1 clip(After taping the trigger make sure you hold it down again, makes it have next to no kick) Play with good people. I wouldn't worry about dropping the resolution down, you don't get nearly as much of an advantage as you did with 1.1 of uprising.

The rest comes naturally with practice and observation. Make sure you don't literally "see red", but always think about where and how to engage. If you are at a disadvantage (and let's face it, as a new player and a pad user you'll be at a disadvantage more often than not), the best thing to do is to ensure that you never get into an even fight. Also, ignore the advise about going 100/100 with your sensitivity. While you might get there eventually (especially once aim assists are back in 1.4), strong situational awareness lets you get by with much lower sensitivity.
