Yes, the laser rifle is "on point" if you adjust to the sight it currently has. Just unlocked the ELM and am having some success with it. Give it a try! |

Yep its a good weapon, the rage and sights just suck other than that at medium range it can melt people... |

Lasers are one of my favorite weapons; a lot of my fits have them, and they force good tactics from both sides.
I've now become a jack of all trades (I have a fitting for every situation), and I use lasers for both a type of "marksman" and for mid-long range area denial. |

In their optimal range lasers are UBER powerful.
It's not even funny how much DPS they do.
So if you can get the positioning right, you could easily score that many kills. |

if they don't see you. last match i got orbital-ed twice and i was the only one hit by it, they really didn't like my burning them. |

Its great... but for the health of your newly found and enjoyable gun did you really need to attract people to this thread with a gimmicky title like you chose.... also the ignorant amongst us wont even read this thread and will simply label the gun as OP.
But damn its fun to use isn't it.

Although to be fair, he was playing with a good team and got a crap-ton of orbital kills. But the LR can be very good if under the right circumstances.

As a Heavy, competent laser users terrify me when they're inside their optimal range. Lasers can really zone you out, but are worthless up close. |
