I haven't yet been able to perform a full analysis of the new video, but i can highlight the features shown, and what little details I managed to notice.
>GTA Online is intended to, at some point, separate from GTA V and become its own game. That's why they refer to it as "GTA Online" instead of "GTA V multiplayer"
>Yes, you can own property in multiplayer! Also garages! Although not mentioned expressly, the narrator's wording of the racing suggests that we will get to store aircraft and watercraft as well.
>A heist mode? Optional scripted storyline with cutscenes? Misson Editor!? The multiplayer is getting very close to outshining the "main" single-player experience.
>A large aircraft styled after a C-130 is apparently flyable. If yachts are usable as well, then the first thing I'd do is set up a nighttime HALO jump to take over the boat.
>Customization is on par with, if not more detailed, than the single-player. It seems like the multiplayer is going to rely more on how fat your wallet is than how much XP you have.
>Ok, who's this chubby fellow? Is he some kind of mafia mastermind, working with both the three singleplayer characters and my multiplayer character??? This guy better be darn good at whatever he does! Either that, or he's really someone from Rockstar put into the game as an Easter Egg.
That's all i can put together for now. Any details I missed? Any more speculation? |

some things u might not know gta online comes out 2 weeks after gta 5 there's hunting in the game not shown in trailer with animals that will try to kill u(bears, cougars etc) seasons changing with winter having snow in north and making roads hard to drive on because of ice and blizzards, and fall making different coloured leaves that eventually fall and my favourite part is gta online is standalone which means new maps and activiites will probably be added because they dont need to make sequals for new maps, bascically gta online is its own game

That's all i can put together for now. Any details I missed? Any more speculation? Excellent analysis there Earthshatter. One thing I want to is(other than the fact that whether or not the game is coming to PC like the previous GTA games)why RockStar decided to cap the player count to 16 players? You'd think that with a large open world where players can do what they want(robbing banks, having gang wars, having a dirt bike race against your friends ect.)that a 32 player cap would more suitable for a game like this. I going to make a safe guess and say that it has to with hardware limitations. |

A player cap increase to 48 would provide some good chaotic fun but 100 players?Holy kittens that would truly be a sight to behold. :0 |

Almost certainly a hardware limitation due to GTA V being released on current-gen consoles. As the apparent plan is to eventually separate GTA-O from the current release, i expect this cap to be raised in a couple years or so. For now though, 16 is alright by me.
final notes of this post: I updated my analysis with EDIT lines. These mostly expand on previous musings with new findings.
Sadly, i will not be able to enjoy GTA-O for the time being. As my 2011 laptop is utter garbage by today's standards (running minimum settings on most games), i'll probably have to hold for GTA-O to separate from GTA-V, or for Rockstar to develop a PS4 port after primary DLC is finished. |

Once at GTA band camp.. Draxus Prime has pointed out that RockStars goal is increase player cap 48 and that If GTA V was to be ported to the next gen consoles: the player cap would increased to 100+. |

Maybe. I do not know much about their multiplayer. I have only played Rockstar Games for the their single player modes, so I can not express an opinion on their multiplayer modes. I am getting GTA 5 for the single player for the most part.
