Is Planetside 2 really the direct competition? Will games like........
BF4
COD Ghosts
Blacklight Retribution (F2P)
Warframe (F2P)
GTA5
Watchdogs
Destiny
The division
.....pose more of a threat to Dust? And why haven't CCP banned the words Planetside 2?
What are your thoughts, can Dust survive the Next gen launch with these games releasing within the next 2-8 months?

Because for some reason people think that advertising a worse game than this one will somehow make CCP step up their game, weird I know.
To answer the rest of your question, those other games will sure draw some dust players out to play but to pull them away completely is probably not going to happen, especially the people who have lots of time invested in this game.
Dust is unique in that there won't be a new title every year, it can only get better and will be here for the long haul. |

How is it worse than dust? Dust average critic review is lower than 6 and user reviews are lower than 5. PS2 has received a stack of prestigious awards. You mean dust is a better lobby shooter than ps2? Well PS2 is no lobby shooter, and that is the worst part of dust, so come again? |

because when COD, Destiny, BF4, aren't good comparisons to begin with. [I'm not even going to talk about GTA5...]
Destiny is pure PVE so that's going to be better than dust in the respect that it has no PVE.
COD, all you have to do is watch the trailer to understand that they're advertising an intense run and gun. Their not even trying to pretend that their game has any team strategy in it bc its all about giving the player exactly what he needs to go solo.
BF4 is kind of close (assuming its identical to its predecessor) bc it adds in squad cooperation to its gameplay which I thought was cool but even so Dust (out of the three games bc their the only ones I know about) is about creating a smart team strategy experience.
Planetside2 has the same angle as Dust so it only makes sense that it would be the primary competitor. People who get up in the morning and post on the forums on how much better COD is probably weren't going to like DUST to begin with. |

only free to play games count against dust since ik a lot of people don't buy as many games as I do (im a fps and rpg junkie)
and ik some people may not want to pay for online with the next gen systems and that's gonna attract those type of people who may spend a dollar here and there for free game stuff that **** adds up |
