12 DC's within twenty minutes.
No it isn't my Internet, everything else wireless is connected and chugging away just fine, Dust on the other hand is running off a pizza box server it feels.
Idk if it's just me, but I'm about two seconds from deleting Dust for good...I'm just done with these damn server issues. |

don't just delete dust, kill your character too.. otherwise your only half assing it because your account will still exist and you will gain passive sp and still be supporting dust by being a statistic.
oh, and I feel your pain about these damn horrendous disconnects lately. I have not been on tonight yet, will be soon ( hopefully). A few days ago I couldn't play **** around 10 p.m EST , every time I would try to play a game I would get DC , if I just sat there talking in chat i'd get a DC.. I basically had to just sit there in MQ doing nothing to keep in Dust, so I turned off and everything was good the next day. |

You might need to port forward your PS3, my brother was having similar issues but this fixed it.
First set a static IP address for the PS3 http://portforward.com/networking/staticip-ps3-playstation-3.htm
Then find your specific router guide http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm and port forward the PlayStation Network and these Dust 514 ports https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=27899 (note that 80 and 443 will be opened during the PlayStation Network bit).
I can't explain why this needs to be done for some games but not others but this is usually the problem. From my experience it is somewhat ISP dependent.

Thought that at first as well, but I can have my phone, laptop, PS3, family members phones connected and have never had a hiccup before.

I play with some folks who through experience have had to limit the number of devices on their home network for dust to work well. Why idk |
