Reason for this, is that skills that only unlock stuff and give you no bonus I find disheartening to train into.
Most skills have a bonus giving the hard earned SP on lvl 3-5. This enable those SP to benefit Standard gear when they don't afford to run their expensive gear no more. Why not do this for every skill?
Atm my chars have got lots og skills in stuff that give bonuses like: Shield/armor harderner 5 and Dropsuits shield/armor upgrades 5. My tanks and suits are standard stuff is tough to kill even without protogear because of those skills. But the road to better equipment at 3 and......5 is just to much xp givnig me nothing at lvl 2 and 4 Call me Lazy. But many people are.
So here is some of the skills I suggest:
Dropsuit Command Heavy / Medium / Light suits don't get any bonus from anything at this current build. Amarr/Gallente Medium suits: 1 - 2% efficiancy on armor modules per lvl. Inherited to all other Medium suits.
Reduse the simimilar bonuses on the Assaul/Logi suits so it doesn't get stacked insanely high.. Caldari/Minmatar Medium suits: 1 - 2% efficiancy on shield modules per lvl. Inherited to all other Mediums suits.
Reduse the simimilar bonuses on the Assaul/Logi suits so it doesn't get stacked insanely high.. All Light suits: -1 - -2% signature radius per lvl.. Inherited tio all other Light suits.
Heavy suits: 1 - 2% hitpoints or 2% agility/movment (jumpheight & turnspeed) per lvl.
Dropsuit Upgrades: Most equiptment skills doesn't give you anything except gear at lvl 1,3,5 usually. Active Scanner Operations: 2% Range || 2% Precition per lvl.
Drop Uplink Operations: +1 charges per lvl.
Nano vircuitry: +1 charges per lvl.
Repairtool: +3% Repairrate || +2% amount per lvl.
Vehicle Command Dropshis: 2% to agility (rudder/aileron/elevator responce) per lvl.
LAV: 2% Grip || suspention || handling per lvl. Inherited to all other LAVs and HAVs.
HAV: 2% Hitpoints || 2% handling(start/stop turn speed) per lvl. Inherited to all other HAVs.
I left out bonuses on the Base skills like Vehicle/Dropsuit command , Dropsuit Upgrades and Weaponry because they Will probably in the future Unlock New stuff in the future.

I wonder. Weaponry, Dropsuit upgrades and the other basic skills. Is it really ment for them to only unlock stuff to lvl 3-4, making the last lvl a waste of sp? I found out I Was unable to visualise what those skills would umlock in the future. Example: Dropsuit Command 4-5. What other basic suits would need that? Space suits. Jetpack suits. |
