Yes the logistics LAVs have an inherent turret damage nerf, but the other LAVs don't. |

I'm not sure on the dropships, I only know about the LAVs because I have corp mates who actually let the gunner on their LAV get kills not the bumper. A properly fitted blaster on an LAV is very underrated. |

If I recall, turrets on LLAV`s only do 50% of there normal damage. |

yes; I can tell ya I tried proto turrets with a friend and he swore i was an awefull shot. Then I told him to try it for himself and then we found out it was all nerfed. Too bad you don't need turrets to kill people with them. |

yes 50% damage reduction. Which is sad because I love supporting the front lines with a gunner and sadly (SINCE METHANAS SUCK ASS RIGHT NOW) the only Gallente LAV capable of surviving is the Limbus |

Is this fact not listed anywhere? I feel like it was listed somewhere in the skill description that the LLAV had a turret damage nerf but I've yet to see that description since Uprising hit so I assumed it was removed. This would make a lot of sense in any case. |

Okay, just got in game to test this.
LAVs -
Methana - 20GJ Railgun
Limbus - 20GJ Railgun
Target -
Large Railgun Installation (Point Blank Range)
Skills : Turret Operation V, Small Hybrid Turret Operation III
Results :
Methana Damage (1 Shot) - 129
Limbus Damage (1 Shot) - 61
So the Logistics LAV is DEFINITELY doing just about half the damage the normal LAV is doing for a single shot. I think we can safely conclude that the 50% Turret Damage modifier is still in effect for the LLAV. |

What sense does it make to have weapons that don't do 100% of their damage?
Which reminds me, I need to get some 40% ammo to put in my 90% gun. |

Road kill was always a factor, the difference is that now there are no longer any issues with killing an enemy and having their dead body clip inside of the LAV and leaving you immobile.

**** what!? no wonder my Ion Scatter gun on LLAV seems to do jack. No wonder murder taxi is so popular, it's the only way they can kill someone, I went LLAV to rep troops while my gunner shot at people, this would also explain why my attempts to kill a HAV with a proto cycle turret ended in failure lol |

and dont forget about the upcoming patch that is supposed to "fix" LAV's
useless turret + no way to road kill= might aswell remove LAV's since they have no function other than moving targets without any way to kill
