Any good runs? What tactics did you use? What could you have done differently? What mods/weapons/suit you used? |

I've used my standard Skirmish fitting, but with plenty of better gear. Currently I only have the skills for an advanced level fit, which is the following:
Scout G/1
CRG-3 Shotgun F/45 Remote Explosives Basic Shield Extender 2x Enhanced Codebreaker Enhanced Shield Regulator
The proto fit I am working towards has more survivability, and is designed to operate mostly independent of other players outside ammunition
Scout gk.0
CreoDron Shotgun Boundless Remote Explosives Complex Shield Extender Complex Codebreaker Complex Shield Regulator Complex Armor Repairer Basic CPU Upgrade
After I'm done with electronics and engineering skills, I'll probably switch to a Duvolle specialist and swap the CPU upgrade with a kinetic catalyzer.
Anyway, I usually operate with same tactics as in Skirmish, I run around usually by myself or with a small group, hacking the null cannons and installations and mine them with explosives. In combat I flank a lot and usually rely on lure tactics, diversions and general ninja-ness to surprises my enemy and shoot them in the back when they least expect it. |

proto minja here and i use three different fits in pc
1:proto mass driver/remote explosive combo for defence and suppression
2:proto nova knives/ officer smg with some flux/remote action for getting in quick and causing mayhem.
3:proto biotic mods in the lows for nothing but running for them outside objectives while the 500+ ehp guys duke it out in the compound complete with exo-5.
more when i'm not on a ps3 ^_^
edit:what i could have done differently.......be minny assault/logi lol |

Proto Gal Scout, reporting. o7
I run AV or Uplink duty in PC. My 300HP proto suit is far too squishy for combat. Pushing 16M SP and I'm dead on detection against any non-scout proto opponent.

Syde Keq runs minmitar shotty scout and basically tears it up, not sure what he runs exactly but I know his highs are all extenders then 2 catalyzers I believe and 1 regulator, (or something like that) with that K5 specialist shotgun and regularly gets 12+ kills with around 5 deaths and top warpoints
And @shotty he regularly 1v1s guys but usually we work together where he runs distraction and 2 of us comes in to clean up whatever he leaves behind. So there is a place for scouts in my opinion. I think youre just selling yourself short |

The gallants scout is built for ewar but with the current mechanics and available gear it's not as effective as it should be they don't have much of a place in pc |

Thanks for input guys, I asked my corp mates and they said that I can help out the team with ULs. I can see myself putting ULs at the enemy's base so we can have tabs on it, I also think that RE's and proxies can help out too. I thought you weren't allowed to spawn on points in PC? In the future though, I hope to not be seen but see everything in my scan radius in PC. I think I'll be more effective that way.
I am really enjoying CQC (seems more intense and more effective) that I'm thinking of dropping the sniper upon respec. I made the mistake of thinking that range modules were for long distance shooting |

Pro gall with speed, shotgun, smg, and proto links. PC is totally different than normal games in that my job is droplink managent. Place yours behind enemy lines so teammates who can actually do something have good spawn locations, kill the enemy's to deny them the same. I have a terrible k/d, but I have swung games (I don't think anyone but me noticed) by killing the enemies ability to spawn as quickly as my team. |

Slightly off topic, but with a large collection of scouts here I might as well ask, is it worth going for a scout suit over a basic light frame for a shotgun fit? Other than the obvious cost differences, the bonuses don't look that appealing for the sp required |

I run around the edges of the map and place uplinks/take out uplinks. Once I've done that I go on suicide runs. Basically run and jump in between a group of people and randomly shoot. It creates Chaos and confusion and then you die. Respawn repeat. |

You don't have to spec into light frames. hope this helps. |

I have proto light suits. The bonuses are poopy.
Now if scouts got a sprint/stamina boost or even a bonus to speed/stamina mods I would. But alas, they don't. |

Although there is some thrill to having 180 ehp, I think some more tank would be nice on the suit :P |

There is a small THRILL lol, the second you are in direct fire you are a goner though. But if you can survive, boss points for you morrigan. Running and jumping should help us out, but atm it hurts us. |

Well actually, a massive thrill :P was just running ambushes all night in a 4k suit coming in the top 5 easily each game, but dying as soon as a massdriver so much as looks at you is too damn annoying. I've actually just looked at your name, I'm pretty sure demon gets into a fair amount of pc with his scout, but I've not been in any for a while so I'm not sure |

For some reason, I get scanned a lot, so I use the Adv scout in pubs. It doesn't hurt that I can get just over 400 ehp, an advanced main and side arm, and slip droplinkd in there. |

Syde KEQ is magical, there is only one of him and then there is prolly like 400 of the rest of us scouts. I find myself pretty useless in PC. |

Well... you see the thing is I'm actually apart of a good corp that can take advantage of the damage I cause when I'm in between people (I get TK'd more often than get killed by an enemy) so I don't have to do it that many times. |

Anything a scout can do a min logi with 2 kin cats can do better :/
Other than that, scout shotgun is what I usually see.
Radar used to do pretty well with knives and REs, I don't know if hes still doing that after the endurance nerf though. |
