How many of you are paying $15/month like I am for an EVE account simple to get access to the EVE-Gate Web based in-game mail interface? It is the only way I can deal with in-game correspondence without tarring my hair out!
Communications on the PS3 suck! The meta game on the PS3 is impossible. Either make my DUST characterGÇÖs in game mail accessible from my computer via a Web Browser interface, or give me MS Word / WordPerfect / StarOffice or whatever on the PS3, with cut and paste options, and a workable mail interface.
I donGÇÖt mind shooting people on the PS3, but trying to play the Meta game on the PS3 is like trying to move a thousand people with a bicycle.
And donGÇÖt start talking about accessing game function on that portable Sony gaming device. That is just as useless as the consol for Meta Game communications! We need a keyboard & Mouse, a functional mail interface, and Spell check. The PS3 only has the Keyboard & Mouse and the portable device does not even have that! |

i dont sub just for that reason as ive had an account for years, however i often run eve while playing dust so i can access mail and chat functions easier |

They'd disguise the out-of-client-access charge as Aurum so you lose perspective on how much money you would actually spend.
But yea, I never use the mail client in Dust. Not to mention X is send message while X is edit textbox in every other single textbox. I love sending mails to Alliance or Corporation from EVE just to get 3 blank mails back from every Dust character in Tso's.
I'm fairly certain most of my guys just use the subject line of the mail like a text message as well.
Also, please make the Merc quarters interface work like the EVE captains quarters if I have KB/M so I can use a mouse to click on things. Not saying I'm a CQ user in EVE, of course... |

i'd sub just to have a "delete all" button on the mail interface :P
can i be ****** doing 7!!! button presses to delete each and every one of the 200+ mail i have on my main toon... all from an eve alliance, and most being random trollish chain letters.... |

Unfortunately it does not give you access to your DUST toonGÇÖs mail. It just gives you access to a sophisticated mail interface you can use to send mail to Dust characters. If you send a mail from an EVE character to a Dust character it can be much much longer than a letter written in DUST and have better formatting including paragraphs, colored text etc.
The little orange bubble next to my mail in DUST said 780 last time I looked.

I had over 500 mails on 2 of my toons that had director status in a previous corp. I would delete mail as a passtime after entering 'lfs' in the Corp channel. It only took a couple of log-ons to get it cleared out  |
