See, explosives kinda disperses the matter that the nanites use to repair you. Seems to make sense to me.
Why should headshots be exempt, that seems pretty easy to repair? Also, the MD shoots...grenades. So in your grand plan, that would need to be exempted too, right? Except that's the exact opposite of the nerfs you're actually trying to propose.

I think because he is a heavy explosive weapons like the MD have an advantage over him because that good old +20 damage to armor, slow movement speed and hmg laughable range make skilled MD users a huge headache. |

I forgot where we were for a moment.
That said, as far as grenades go, those are more about filling things with fragments of metal rather than actually trying to blow them to pieces.
I would say that only an explosive hitting you directly for the final blow should make you impossible to revive.
If you have direct hits with explosives and headshots as the only means of denying revives, I think you'll start to see a lot less explosive spam in matches. |

My armour gets blown up a lot, but I don't think I should still get to be revived.
Blowing someone up is a effective way of making the enemies lose clones. It also prevents logos from doing their jobs. |

I think not all headshots is instant biomassing, i constantly see my victims get revived after 1-3 headshot deaths, that's wrong. You need to shoot that dead clone (sometimes stand\sit still in same pose ) again to 100% kill it lol. |

The Mass Driver is not AV - it's intended purpose is an anti-personnel AOE weapon. Think grenade launcher from COD/MW, etc. Occasionally I can get a vehicle kill with my MD, but very rare (or if it's militia...). I get what CCP did with explosive weapons and head shots going insta-biomass, and I'm fine with that - giving and receiving. |
