I am very annoyed that people keep complaining that CCP should 'fix this NOW!' or 'nerf that NOW!' It gives me a headache.
Solution: Until you actually can realize the difficulty of searching through thousands of lines of coding to fix these 'problems', stop demanding fixes! |

Well for nerfs (and/or buffs) it's as simple as hitting ctrl+f and typing in what they want to modify. For actual bugs and what not, yeah it'd be a nightmare and it isn't hard to imagine their code is a bloated mess. |

I do kind of expect them to build a program that should have an architecture that allows for a strong degree of refactoring and bug fixes.
Maybe I'm a little un-reasonable when I yell stuff like "DO IT NAAOOW" but they should be able to track down the bugs I find (which I think they're pretty good at) and certainly add in new content. I think it would be ridiculous to suggest they didn't build dust with new content in mind. I suspect a big part of why they delay is balance and them trying to figure out what direction they were headed in the first place. |

Look at how many updates SOE has done for Planetside 2 in the last 8 months. 13 updates in 8 months, with huge content drops.
Stop making excuses for ccp being slow. The only excuse they have is hiring guys like foxfour who have 0 experience doing anything but playing Eve.
Yes CCP's incompetence is what is holding dust back, not all the complainers. |
