Not sure about removing it completely but something needs to change when a gunner in a small turret on a tank gets more WP for an assist than a kill. 50wp per kill, 25 for an assist and 35 for vehicle kill assist. I have had bluedots jump in my alt's small turrets before and have witnessed them injure then purposefully target someone else to ensure maximum points. |

Remove it or change it.
At least with Kill Assists you have to do some damage, for Vehicle Assists all you have to do is sit in the vehicle. |

I'm more of an advocate of locks and some type of remove option. In this way people whom want to actually support the vehicle such as squad mates and corp members are rewarded for doing so. I feel that this is in the vehicle drivers best interest.
However, those that are just farming can be removed, etc. |

I mean, in the case of people who just sit in passenger slots in Dropships to try and farm vehicle assists, I can understand this.
Only issue is that Dropships get shot down so much that no one does this anymore.
If you're going to talk about removing those assists though, what about HAVs? Right now, the driver gets WP for his kills and assist WP for each kill his gunners get. If you were to take away that extra WP gain, we'd have a lot of angry HAV operators. |

The idea of removing it bad, there are some great tank squads out there. The real fix will be vehicle locks and restrcitions being added. |
