Lai Dai's aren't of much use when the LLAV has some crazy resistance mods/hardeners on. As throwing three and getting all to hit, only to see their shields drop by a miniscule amount.
Even the assault forge is mostly useless against this, I have fired 4 rounds, one after another, into a LLAV, and it's shields were barely phased considering how much damage should have been done.
LAV's need to have face-value HP only, none of this damage resistance/hardener BS that makes their 3k Hp LLAV into a 15k LLAV. |

My chary has about 6k EHP. 3564 base plus about 47% resists. It's only possible to get another seven? percent resists. I can't take four hits from an assault forge. Consequently, your anecdote is a load of bull. |

I dunno about forges, but I run Lai Dais and proto nanohives and I usually don't bother trying to kill LLAVs. I can throw all 3 grenades and maybe a few more and they'll drive around and come back as strong as ever. Maybe in a city where they can get cornered or get greedy trying to get kills. In the open fields I use them more as deterrents so they go find easier prey. |

it takes 6 lai dai packed AVs to kill an only passive resisted charybdis, takes 3-4 ishukone assault forge gun shots with decent proficiency & damage mods , and i dont know how many proto swarms.
Needless to say these are insane amounts of AV for a small frame, very fast, and very maneuverable vehicle able to hug the ground and get behind cover, away from AV, and regenerate health very quickly passively.

a gunlogi with 2 ward shield amps has a ~30% shield resist; i similarly fitted charybdis has ~50%. If we could just switch these, it would be nice. |

Of course this whole murder taxi business has given Charybdis drivers a bad name. But, believe it or not, many of us actually try to use it for what it was made for -- supporting allies. And not just infantry, HAV drivers as well. I'd gladly hug a HAV's rear end if it helps us win, rather than zoom off to make some Mercenary jelly. |
