I've been looking at the stats for both the Caldari and Amarr proto medium suits and found out that when you add high end equipment the Amarr suit is much tougher and can carry more advanced gear and weapons because of its higher CPU / PG.
Because the Caldari suits have notoriously low CPU / PG it can really take advantage of its additional high powered module slot.
Another thing is the speed and endurance of the suits. While the Amarr suit is slightly slower it has a higher sprint duration, recovery rate, and Stamina.
In the end the Amarr overpowers the Caldari medium suits. Armor / Shield ratio, Stamina, and headroom for advanced equipment. |

Tis slower though. And I believe it gets less high slots than the Calamari and less lows than the Gallente leaving it a kind of middle of the road suit. |

You can all check the the stats yourself to see the differences but, in the end the Amarr overpowers the Caldari medium suits. Armor / Shield ratio, Stamina, and headroom for advanced equipment. You know jack all about this game don't you?
Amarr suffer crippling PG shortages, cannot equip nearly all of the modules they should be able to, and primarily are armour tankers. How do you figure we have it so good? |

leave the poor guy alone he is caldari and probably an AR scrub as well so we should now begin preparations for the inevitable Amarr Medium suit nerf |

The Amarr, are in essence, probably the crappie at guys out there.
Only a 30 HP difference between the base stats of othe suits, and that bonus is entirely washed away with a single Enhanxed shield extender. This coupled with the lower slot count, put the Amarr in a small hole.
Oh, and they're slower.
But, if you want to run ScRs or LRs, they got a nice bonus. |

While it may have one less High slot, the Amarr suit has more CPU / PG meaning that you can replace two enhanced shield extenders with one complex and have plenty power leftover to add prototype weapons, grenades, and equipment. And you'll also be able to add high end armor plates to make up for that 30hp lost in shields. (Amarr suit has 50 more armor hp) |
