When: Every Monday from 22:00 GMT (EVE/DUST time) till whenever
Where: meet up in game channel "nova zombies"
What?: Join the channel around that time with a nova knife fit and activate voice there/join a squad. Run matches together and knife people. Don't worry if you can't make it till later. There will probably be people doing this for a while. Possible Qsyncing will happen if we get enough people in the channel. Though not FW, because waiting is boring.
"Why?": A fun change of pace. Add a little variety to your Dust experience. LOLz |

I'll be making a dedicated Nova Knife alt soon because I f*cking admire the few people who have snuck up on me with ishukone nova knives and killed me. There was a guy who decimated my entire pub team (was running solo) solely with knives. I rarely ever saw him but the killfeed just kept popping up with knives. |

I generally abstain from knives in shooting games, but I may join in on this. Great potential for hilarity. |

Nova knives are pretty impractical but there are a few who excel at using them and I have to applaud them when they get me. I'm not very good with them but using them usually leads to lots of entertaining moments. One of my favorites is when a target detects me at the last moment and starts visibly freaking out trying to figure out how to deal with me. Just how well their candid reaction caries through the avatar is kind of funny.
A knife alt is pretty doable. I recommend at least advanced nova knives. Then maybe grenades 1 for AV grenades and or active scanners. |

I just made the corp for fun and to play around with the corp maker tool. At the moment it is not active since I am the only member, but I will accept whoever applies. My thoughts are that if you create an alt specifically for this you might as well join, but that is up to you.
The "nova zombies" public channel has had a few people lurking in it so at the very least I'm hoping if this picks up enough that might be a good place to try and form knife squads on other days. |

I have used them a lot lately and they are not as impractical as most people think.... Like any weapon, once you figured out to get the gunfight to be in you favor, you can kill almost anybody.

If you ever see a couple of us in the channel on off times and want to run a knife squad just ask. I'd be willing to switch to my knife alt and group up. |

At peak we had about a squad and a half going. We tried qsyncing once and after that failed we just did our own thing. People were into it and I'm guessing it will have a bigger turn out next week.
We actually had a big impact on a few matches. Once people realized what was going on the other team would tend to cluster together and not separate, so it did feel a little like the other team was making a last stand against a horde of zombies.
Sadly something came up and I only got to play for an hour or so this time. I think a lot of people are preoccupied with double xp week right now also. Looking forward to next week. |
