So I just went in a match and single-handedly killed two Vayu's. My isk payout was 198k.

I've heard it doesn't matter what you individually killed or destroyed, rather it takes that ISK and then spread it out across the entire team based on war points. |

I would like the entire ISK/SP payout to be more transparent but I seriously doubt if there is anything that will change their minds about this issue, or most anything else for that matter. The entire process seems to be about keeping the players in the dark while constantly tweaking the results to match some magical spreadsheet in Shanghai or Iceland.
I know they have changed it over the last few months as well. A squad mate killed two AUR tanks during 1.2, maybe earlier, and received 800K ISK with some outrageous, since forgotten, amount of SP as well. After that I have killed AUR tanks and high ISK tanks but received nothing close to his numbers. Not that ISK matters at all. This is DUST, SP matters, nothing else is important.
As for their mindset, the double SP week is classic to me as the title was nice but the implementation was anything but. So what if we can earn twice as much by playing longer? I haven't capped out that often lately so playing longer is not actually something that is very interesting personally. |

I feel, if anything, CCP's double SP week increased the amount of AFKers, due to people wanting to hit the (double) extended cap, even though most people don't have the time to do it (due to various reasons; work, family, school, etc.)

I think they should make the game calculate SP based on your footsteps and how long you spend moving or pressing buttons, giving user input etc (so snipers aren't left out). This, I think, would help. |

Yeah, or something like control outputs that are being used to find out who's AFKing or not; I mean, even if you are a sniper, you are at least zooming in and looking around at the minimum, but for someone whos AFKing, it's easy to see if he hasn't interacted with the controller or not, or if the analog stick is rubber-banded to try and trick the server, then it would notice it and question whether you are AFK or not (which, at that point, if you fail to say "no" after a certain time, it kicks you). |
