If your wondering how this could fit into the lore of the universe of eve it would be some thing along the lines of the outer most colones of the three factions become targets for pirates, corps, or the eve players looking to take over a specific area, (i am dust player not a eve player so excuse my non descriptive/ potently inaccurate description of how it would work :/ ) some thing along those lines.
dense city structures ie offices, homes, government buildings, considering the architecture of each race is different to a extent. The possibility for different map layouts are endless & personal rather interesting to my self. since all the current dust 514 maps have at minimum a tiny amount of vertical play, at most a limited amount. It would be nice to change it up, given enough routes made into the map to go up and down every corner would be a risk. Now the balance of such a map would be difficult, making corridors to small would result in players constantly getting stuck on each other to large and it would defeat the point, some might argue such a map type would favour scouts, true the would be advantages for scouts but not as much as you might first think.
Having to navigate corridors and lobby spaces would be hard in the presence of infantry with limited cover its would be a case of stay ahead or behind them or die for us glass cannons. Heavy's would completely be OP in such a tight space right? well no not really, they enviroment would both help and hinder them, more condensed spaces would allow a heavy to mo down alot of people in its path, so a direct assault would be ill advised. this ties into what im gonna say next, having to plan your way not only through your enemies but though paths though the building/'s to get to the objectives, bringing a level of navigational strategy where as at the moment its just use what ever cover is there then leg it and shoot things.
sorry if some of this dose not make a whole lot of sense, im abit of a rambler but i hope i got my point across, no doubt a point was made even if it was not intended.
