Since theres only two heavy weapons it be kinda nice to diversify with flamethrowers. So low damage but damage over time and effective vs armor. |

Lightning cannon instead. similar idea to flamethrower only lightning, since HMG is already armor bonus this should be shield bonus. |

Thermal energy affects shields more than armor, as the LR shows. Odd, as one would think that armor would be more vulnerable as it would be more likely to melt.

It should have more range than the HMG but do less damage, or like 150% shields, 50% armor. |

Probably wouldn't work - people would complain that the flames obstruct their vision. |

The Gallente are getting some kind of plasma weapon, TBA. Maybe we'll see some kind of plasma style flamethrower. |
