I don't think the other team's uplinks and nanohives should show up on the radar and map (you can't see theirs and they can't see yours!). I think there are too easy to find and destroy because of that. They also give away a sniper's location really easy. What do you guys think? |

Already requested in at least two other posts. Needless to say, I don't think anyone would disagree with you unless they were trolling.

I'm ok with seeing them on the ground but not on the radar or map. Some people all they do is look at their map to find the uplinks and nano hives and find the snipers. It seems very stupid to me. |

Sometimes it's not the fact that you can see them on a map, but the fact that you can see them from half a map away, I was sniping and then got hit by something. I poked my head up and started looking around and then BAM I saw the bubble from a nano hive literally half the map away!!!!! No scope either I was just looking around cause I thought it was infantry that hit me!!! |

I don't mind the system right now. The equipment is used to set up and hold territory. It's not so much a matter of hiding your equipment, as it is defending it. As for snipers, I see no reason why setting up equipment at your hiding place shouldn't draw more attention to you.
Perhaps if you have a profile dampener on your suit, that might also reflect on your uplinks/equipment? So that a scout, say, would have a more difficult to detect uplink, than if an assault or logi were to drop one. |
