Question, why are we still stuck on the whole "LOGIs ARE BETTER THAN ASSAULTS!" thing?
If they truly are better, why not just change the Logistics and Assault Speeds, make Logis slower, and we could always take a leaf out of the Logistic LAVs book, their turrets apparently have 50% turret damage reduction. Could always have a minus modifier on the dropsuit itself, or even have a percentage decrease to Damage Modifiers.

Why decrease the logis damage capability when instead you could give assault's an increase? |

See, look at this, a good answer rather than changing stupid things on a dropsuit.

I don't really notice it, though I do know I am speccin' into a Gallente Logi rather than Assault because it'd be better to kill things with (All honesty), those extra equipment slots far outweigh the loss of my Sidearm. |

I mean by "nerfing" logi damage all you are doing is basically pushing logi's towards putting damage mods on their suit to try and counteract that. :/ Maybe you could give the assault suit the damage bonus while taking out a module slot so they're sort of being forced into their role. It would be like a built in damage mod that you can't take out. |

Whilst some would try to counteract it with Damage Modifiers, there wouldn't be much point would there? You lose against an Assault Suit with the same setup (minus equipment), stat wise anyways.
The damage one was a suggestion, but you could also apply it to damage modifiers instead, making them 50% as effective as on an Assault Suit, for example.

How about damage mods are 75-80% effective on logi suits and 110% to 120% effective on assault suits? |

The game consists of more than assault and logi suits. Buffing one to counteract the other hits heavies and scouts pretty hard too.
Also, assaults are faster. If speed weren't a huge factor in this game, you wouldn't see so many good players using catalyzers. |

No offense Son of Pear, but suits aren't comparable to vehicles. |

Both have module and weapon slots, both have shields and armor, both have different classes etc... So we can compare them, but yeah I understand your point my dear.
