make all dropship turret hardpoints medium sized turrets, instead of small sized turrets then instead of more firepower, they will have stronger and better firepower, firepower worthy of a flying vehicle. or combine both of our ideas and make dropships something a little scarier on the battlefield (only thing is blueberry gunners tend to do random things, imagine more blueberry randomness XD) |

I want a dinosaur to pilot the DS while my guns auto target enemies and always get headshots (even on tank and DS pilots) Otherwise the DS will forever be UP.

I still want dropships to have different classes:
Gunships (more turrets/autofiring) Carriers (more personnel capacity) Bombers (this one explains itself, have a 2 man crew, a pilot and bombardier) AWACs (Give advanced radar feeds to ground forces on enemy positions)
And equip them with countermeasures and pilot controlled swarm launchers. Let the tankers deal with THAT.
Granted, I don't mess with dropships, but it would be cool to see these in action. |

Dropships have great fire power. I feel like having more turrets on a regular dropship is not a good idea because it defeats the purpose of the ship being a ship that "drop" its crew. Two turrets on a standard dropship is enough with good well skilled gunners, and in an assault dropships has its own pilot gunning that's with a skilled pilot again that is more than enough. |

They could just :
- increase the small turret range, so we don't have to be 20m over the target to do significant damages. - Repair the glitch making the turret move up when aiming too low under the dropship (for gunners) - Small railgun...lol - resist to Forge could be good, or actually make the DS better, since LAV do fine against forge. - Make a check on stats for the vehicles modules, especially in the Engineering ones... lvl1 give 5% bonus, lvl3 give 4% and lvl4 give 7%. - RDV should not be able to deliver vehicle when a DS is in the trajectory...or at least, it should blow up too, with it's delivery. - Resistance per lvl when skilling into the ADS, should be 2% per lvl, not 1%. See LLAV bonus per level. - On the ADS, pressing the thumbstick for aiming change the view, changing the aiming as well to "right on the horizon". Actually, fix the view, aiming through the ADS in 3rd person view is stupid. Maybe I am doing it wrong, but why the hell can I move up&down the aim in 3rd person view, but not in 1st person... - Opening and closing bay door when hovering too low...see the first point also...this is annoying. |

honestly i would rather be able to get rid of the turrets on vehicles before i add more.
I can already see a bunch of AR users cry nerf automatic turrets because their too OP and kill them too much, and you know how these things go. people yell nerf automatic turrets and CCP cuts damage by 60% while also reduces dropship's base speed ,hp ,and removing al beneficial skills from skill tree. Even if we have to put 4mil sp into that skill alone and only 2 dropship pilots are good enough to use it effectively its still getting nerfed.
all in all dropships don't need more firepower they need more survivability.
edit: oh yeah. Did you know their used to be 6 turrets not 3.
Blasters Railguns Missiles Lasers Autocannon Artillery i just wonder if the the other 3 are even coming out any more. |

Soon there will be amarr and minmatar lasers and projectiles, not to sure about artillery atm, there arnt any arti based weapons ingame yet
Also there are ment to also be pulse laser (scrambler) and beam laser but i doubt they will get that far for a while |

i don't know what auto-cannon is... but i think that would be boss to have an ADS with an auto cannon on the front, it actually sounds scary, and like something an enemy would want to run away from.
I would think missiles would be scary, but considering most dropsuits can take 3-6 missiles to the face, i guess they aren't very scary weapons... BUT AN AUTOCANNON, YES PLEASE |
