I feel if we had less people like that then there wouldn't be so many nerf threads due to weapons flying under the radar. Now the MD is on the nerf list and it's because a few people realised it's good, perhaps OP and go ape crazy for it. I will sit back with my Duvolle across my lap and continue to improve my skills with it instead of following the fotm because I GÇ£have to.GÇ¥

Chances are, it's an under appreciated as all hell weapon anyways. My Plasma Cannon says "hello" to the faces of MDers everywhere. You can't run from a real weapon.

Even in Chromosome it sucked, but I still used it. I stopped using it in uprising when I switched to the Scrambler. Then 1.2 happened, and all of a sudden the Mass Driver was reborn with the hit detection actually working. Every shot exploded when it hit the ground instead of falling through the floor or just not exploding in general. The Mass Driver was always a really good weapon, but the glitches it had made it hard to actually use. The arc was adjusted, and now it works properly...so when players find out it's actually a good weapon they use it more. My baby is finally here...I've waiting too long for this day to come. So yes I will use this weapon and do well with it, but not because it's the fotm. Honestly, fotm needs to be changed to PCFOTM, because apparently all of this QQing is coming from PC matches in which players are just spamming the thing in close quarters.

I specced fully Amarrian before I even had used any of the gear when I got my respec back in Uprising, then abandoned an 8 million SP toon to make this badass Amarrian. I only use Amarrian weapons and drop suits and now Im practicing for armour HAV piloting with my "poopy tanks" (AKA somas).

Do you know what fotm means? It means flavour/fit of the month and the Duvolle is an AR, the bread and butter of every military force in existence, which I also happened to have been using since closed beta so... Fotm refers to the players that pick up a weapon just because it's overpowered in its current form.

An barely anyone noticed it happened, that people have just started using them an even they have no clue that a month ago they were amazing, now a last resort life saver an no longer offensive stable, yet I see nerf threads for them even tho they've been stomped!

And this is why CCP should listen to reasonably posed arguments as well as their own data but right now I think they miss one of those out and I honestly can't tell which. The bottom line here is that if people stopped chasing fotm then the QQ would be so much lower. Although asking for one to stop in order to stop the the other is like asking gravity to stop working because I hate walking.

And some users get it to their advantage, or others find it quite more simple to just cry about it in the cold, harsh autumn nights; and then theres also the rage filled crew that is pretty much fuc** tired of the whole shi goin on and get into the forums to lessen so much fury, and pain, inside (for eating so many burritos). In my opinion feedback is vital no matter the content, cuz we are in - Dust 514 - 0.1.3 beta (aka. Uprising) after all. Lets hope that by 2020, we can have a full relase and the core mechanics get totally polished so we can move along to the long waited and promised plusplus features.

Avoided the FotY by neglecting tank in favour of speed and equipment. All defensive modules are sitting at 1 with S/A Upgrades at 3. It's certainly not the optimal way to build it's just that piling in SP on 'merely' becoming tougher seems boring, would rather open up utility instead. Considering the exponentially scaling nature of Extenders not making them proto ASAP is tantamount to gimping yourself though. Maybe I'll get to it finally in about 4 months time?
