TLDR char isn't HARDFACTS. ER is. There is only one flaw in your theory of a Vendetta (strong word btw). Why would I care that Charlotte left ML when he was such a flake he barely ever showed up to PC. And when he did, he was a mediocre tanker at best... just like Earl James. I had only been in ML for a few weeks when Char jumped ship, so I had really no feelings towards him whatsoever. We pubbed maybe 2-3 times tops. I may be wrong here, but its been fun nonethless for me. I used to bust forum troll alts all the time back in the WoW days (yes I played WoW inb4 lolz). It was a hobby. Sometimes you are right, sometimes wrong... but I highly doubt I missed on this one dude.
I jump ship whenever it seems my infantry are not doing a good enough job against the other infantry, as corporations pay me to kill other tanks for them. It has been that way since day one and it will likely be that way forever. I do not act as if I will stay forever or that I am disloyal. I simply protect good grunts against other tanks. I may not be the best, as I have been beaten, but I'm good enough to go almost anywhere I want to. My friends on Dust are not confined to one corporation or alliance. I squad with fun people for pubs and good people for PC. That is all.
My choice of fighting for LOI during the Great War was more because a lot of my tank friends were LOI than Eon, but I knew Eon had some amazing tankers for me to fight. Sure, we lost the war, but I did pretty well for myself in almost every battle, even though I was outnumbered every single time (except Psychotic Shooter, Charlotte O'Dell vs Covert Clay) |
