And god is the forge gun fun even at a militia level, sending tanks running for the hills at a distance is so much fun and be able to one shot the proto bears is like eating souffle all day
I think I actually started to giggle when some proto HMG heavy took some shots at me and tried to chase me over a hill, horrible mistake on his part since I was charged up and waiting for him to poke his head over the crest so I could introduce him to my little friend
Seriously thinking of skilling my alt into heavy and forges since hes sitting on some unused SP, any of you forge users have some tips for a decent fitting? |

Adv forges as standard.

Kin cat and cardio stim to get around with side arm damage mods just in case you miss and they get on you. |

as to OP's request, it all depends on what sort of FG you want to use, assault, breach or the standard variants.
assaults have less charge up time but you can't hold in the shot, it shoots once the charge is done, breach variants have high dmg, long ass charge time, can hold in the shot AND you can't move from your spot. standard variants is the one you were using, average charge time, can hold in the shots and you can move about while charging.
strap in some dmg mods and you should do plenty of dmg, but then again its all up to you and which sort of play style you want to do with the FG |

So pretty much damage mods and biotics to actually get into position in a timely manner, got it |

Tbh you don't even need damage mods. You could put shield mods in the high slots to up your survivability if you're going the anti infantry route. |
