Due to all whiners complaining for afkers and all the threads taken out on this forum, CCP had to take measures to prevent afking and accomplish the Dust vigilantes requests. So now a 2xSP but with a normal passive SP gain (talking about the passive SP you earn in battle (5SP each second spent) not the real passive SP). If they would have made a 3x it would have been ridiculously long and quite impossible to make it. Thanks to all people not minding theyr own buisness.

I suppose they could of doubled passive and tripled active though.It wouldn't surprise me if its another way for ccp to accrued data also you never know if the majority max the cap ccp might raise the cap. |

Why not just remove passive SP and quadruple active SP in battles ? Without passive SP AFKing will be pointless. |

Why are you trying to apply logic to this decision? You shouldn't.
Honestly, the idea of "to discourage AFK-grinding we'll make the grind almost twice as long this week" makes no sense. Don't they have stats from what happened the days it was possible to get a full extra week in one day? |

yea im not getting too much more sp per battle in this "event". TAKE THE PASSIVE OUT!!!! no more afk'ing... then double or triple active gain. why is that so hard to see... Or do they think the AFKers will quit too? |

I bought a booster..
Started playing.. One match, double premades on the enemy team.. Second match, same thing.. Third match, all pubbies vs premades..
That's when I realized what an absolutely horrifying grind this would be.. That saddened me to no end - I would get no enjoyment from getting pubstomped in a ****** matchmaking system for twice as long as normal.. I just couldn't take that kind of grind..
So I put down my PS3 controller, turned off the console, and walked away.. Not sure when I'm going to pick it up again..

It didn't messed up because they started it after weekly reset, not cause its x2 or x3.
No seriously, when they first introduced x3 week it was at fanfest and thought it would be a once a year event. Now i pretty much think its basically just to generate a bit more players numbers and at the same time, like someone mentioned, so ppl buy boosters / Aur .
They also might consider using this x2 type of weekly cap, who knows at this point. |
