How many from the AR nerf brigade are proficient enough at using it that they can consistently get good matches with it? Kills on people who are already fighting 5 other people do not count. |

I've got proto Scrambler Rifles, Shotguns, and I'll have proto AR's by tonight.
I just started truly using AR's rather than the Scrambler Rifles this morning - yeah the AR is pretty much the alpha of the weapons, it isn't OP, but it just works better than all else it feels. |

Which again, is why there needs to be some way to make the damage buildup be based on the target, and not the heat level.
But let's stay on topic here. |

Try Assault Scrambler rifles. They're an exact copy, minus some minor changes. (Extra clip size, overheat mechanic that takes a clip and a half of constant fire to happen, etc') |

Hey! But I love my laser! I chase it around all day long! And then my furr starts burning, and then I'm suddenly in a new clone for some reason. |

I use the assault Scramblers, they're too inconsistent in comparison to the AR. Some days the assault Scramblers melt people, other days it merely tickles them as the muzzle flash blinds you. Also the assault Scramblers have some odd spread while the semi auto Scrambler has zero spread due to it being the love child of a glu and charge sniper rifle.

I actually tested it and assault SCR has a tighter spread than the AR. I believe that people think otherwise is because the sight is clearer, so it's easier to see the shaking of the weapon. |

Yeah, I can attest to the fact that that baby fires tight as hell.
And it absolutely destroys shield-tanked suits.
Part of why I had less of an issue with CalLogiAR than some other people.
That is until Ferroscale plates and people just stacking those in their lows with no penalties. |

I can go 7/5 with an AR (Operation 5 SS 3 Prof 5) but that's with a logi, but AV is my specialty and I'm using my scout more and more trying to get better with it. Still AR's are good they're as easy to use as the MD, and as easy to master(anyone can use these but the MD's projectile, and the AR's Dispersion take some skill to compensate for) |

The entry barrier to the MD while higher, isn't much higher. Nova knives are probably the hardest to get into and master. |

Nova Knives I'd use these when I recruited in the academy so I wouldn't do too well and graduate in 5 matches. |
