put the Academy back the way it was at the very least...people are getting hammered...don't get me wrong, I like shooting toons but at least make it hard for me.
was sent into a match halfway over and sniped 11-1-0 and still was 2nd on the board, 1st & 3rd were also snipers, 1-3 on the losing side were the Logi's I saw repping all the dead Noobs....
if any new players make it thru the week they are gonna be some bitter bastards..... |

Yeah, I don't think the solution to the Academy was setting it up to eject you after the first match. |

They stated that they've found that the average noob is earning 100WP per game and they seem to think that 4 games is enough to learn what they need to know. FAIL MUCH? 4 games is NOT enough. Most noobs can still earn more than 400WP per game even in their first ever match. I was (and am) of the opinion that 10,000WP was a premature graduation from the Academy. I myself have tried out the Academy on an ALT and absolutely obliterated everyone (bar the occasional veteran on an ALT), but after leaving the Academy proceeded to get my cloned a$$ handed to me time and again, regardless of having been around since Open Beta began. I feel sorry for those poor noobs. I feel the only ones who stay around are those who have researched the game and believe in it's potential regardless of CCP's execution thus far (this could include players who have been taken under the wing of older corps), and those who have patience and don't mind being the underdogs for the foreseeable future while they skill up. |

Yeah I was getting something similar last night.
I was going consistently with upwards of 20 kills and sometimes I didn't die at all. The games felt just like matches from academy and most of the players from both sides had neg kdrs.
I would like to think my skills have somehow doubled overnight but I somehow highly doubt that. The recent change of academy I fear is going to drive more players away than it rakes in. |

They are watching it closely. If it is negatively affecting player behavior they will change it. One person speaking up here isn't going to do much to change what data they are looking at. |

they probably did it so people couldn't roll alts and stay in the academy forever, which was definitely happening, both vets and newbies. |

I stood in the same spot in a ambush match with my cheapest fit didnt move a inch and still got 10 kills and 0 deaths it was way to easy |

I'm assuming the player count is getting so low they had to scrap the academy to keep the regular matches from turning into ghost towns. |
