Really u give us mostly broken servers and now you lock the door for any noobs by breaking the academy. Words can not explain my discust at waisting two years here andbring my corp from mag to your god awful game. Milk your tiny playerbase for what little you can get but in the end it will be a epic failure. Stick to pc games you have no buisness here. |

Its this unqualified whiners forum + who ever at CCP approves some changes that drags down Dust514
Unless CCP is confident in what they doing with Dust514 , wich so far is poor and it shows CCP has no ideea how to make a FPS BUT they have the good ideea of a FPS , Dust514 will always have more downs than ups.
So if you want to enjoy Dust514 , lower your standards and you will barely feel the dissapointment.

So the answer is to cut their head off, before they can scape the Pubstomping slaughter ? Because that is what i going to happen now...;
8 kills ( that can potentially be achieve in 2 battles ) > joining a Pubstomped battle after 40 minutes of game-play > This game sucks !! I going to find something better to do. 
How the hell this decision was make without fixing the Matchmaking first ?.. I think all this is intentional, because Pubstompers are running out of fresh meat.. and CCP is determinate to keep that FEW guys happy.. at any cost. |

Meh, when I first came here, like most I had high hopes and wanted this game to be the MAG replacement.
Now I don't care. CCP is a joke, and this game will die with the release of 4.

Iron wolf hAbe ccp ever considerd the fact the game at present is fundamental just not fun. That's why new players are leaving ccp need to admit Dust514 in its current state is not Fun and needs to go back to alpha and undertake a rewrite.
Any sensible director in the commercial world would have allready done this |

Its a multiple front thing, things have to get fixed a bit at a time. Tutorial NPE stuff is taking a bit longer to put out than I expected but it seems to be a schedule of when now. More on that when CCP allows but these BA experiments are precursors to it which may also explain the whole 400 point thing it may prove to CCP that most players quit after they leave the BA. |

The Battle Academy itself wasn't a very good idea, anyone who's played this game for 2 weeks could tell you that.
People complained it was too short, people complained it was too long. Well, guess what? It's both. The whole system is useless for its intended purpose.
Lengthening the time it takes to get out of BA won't change anything unless its something crazy large like a 2mil SP cap (taking WP into consideration doesn't change the pubstomping they will get out of the academy regardless of their skill against the skill-less), cause lets face it...an extra 100k SP isn't gonna prepare them against vets.
Now the problem with that, is with the current BA...why would ANYONE want to spend the month or two getting the SP to get out of it? its a terrible BA.
You are acting like this new change to the BA is throwing the newberries to the wolves, well what do you think has been going on? the time in BA is too short to make a difference, and its unable to be lengthened cause its just a terrible system currently.
Grow up, wait for the new system they are working on, and stop acting like this was some dramatic change that's going to affect Dust for months to come, cause it won't. |
