We went up against a team who spammed MD, Thales, and a few mounted FGers recently.
They killed us a fair amount but without ARs to move in on objectives, and finish off retreaters, they got raped in terms of MCC, AR is king. Assaults are king. Thales,MD, &FG are all effective support weapons, but that doesn't matter much when theres no AR boots on the ground to support.

like people forget using a Viziam to hold an objective. The dropship missile tournament. Using glitched spots in objectives to throw RE's so even a flux won't destroy it. Hell with every update comes a new FoTM that people jump on and ride till it gets nerfed.

oh damn i went 1 and 9 in a scout suit, im so bad iknow :( i dident have a choice and youknow it. Our players kept getting D/ced and i was often alone flipping objectives. First, the thing that's obviously spammed the most are drop uplinks.
Second, Forge guns and Mass drivers aren't the problem, it's the map design.

They both take far more skill than you just driving around a murder taxi and jumping out with a protobear HMG.

How dare you get such a terrible score in a suit thats clearly OP.

Bro if you are talking about last night's match;- I have been using MDs since they OP then UP and then fixed. I have been using MDs since when they had only 4 rounds and really bad splash damage.

The problem last match was not MDs but the way explosives work against armor and scouts being paper thin. I run a Mimitar Proto scout and I will tell you that scouts are really bad right now. Their survivability is very low.

I am also a really good shot with the MD. I don't aim for the feet. I go for headshots that do way more damage.

Anyways GG last night. Looking forward to more fights and hopefullyGäó CCP fixing this stuff.

i havent done murder taxi sence mid chromosome... lol. And forge gunning an objective takes no skill and no risk

Funny, one time I had a shotgun scout in PC, and broke even k/d and went positive ISK wise.
