Wanted to share these two experiences before I forgot so yeah, here it is. Feel free to share your own odd experiences you find on the battlefield.
1. I'm strolling around in my commandlol suit because I still have 90 advanced BPCs of it so might as well. Shields got depleted, so I'm chilling behind a rock while they slowly go up 10 hp/sec. Then out of nowhere this LLAV pulls up to me and shoots some weird electricity at me like he is The Emperor and my shields. "WTF?!?" I thought, I've played Dust actively for over half a year now and have never seen this before. I solute you, random LLAV driver.
2. This is actually a repeated occurrence I have been seeing in the past few battles I've been in. People are charging me with laser rifles and trying to kill me with them at smg/shotgun range. Seriously? I'm not sure who I should feel bad for, but I've been seeing it repeatedly from different players so I guess CCP is to blame? Perhaps there should be short weapon tutorial videos you can view in the marketplace next to the weapons before you buy them, so you know how they should be used? It breaks my heart seeing people waste LRs like this  |

I seriously agree with the weapon tutorial videos.
hehe, examples:
MASS DRIVER
Stay above your target or on equal ground, you will have a hard time shooting above you. Take arc and travel time into consideration while aiming your shots, and beware suicide at close range.
SCRAMBLER RIFLE
This semi-auto gun easily drops shields. Hold the shoot button to power up a more powerful shot, but beware of overheating. If you do the gun strips your shields and locks up.

I know it is hard to believe but thats what LLAV are actually ment for. Its just that in Dust 514 originalality is doing what something was intended to do.
but yeah something odd that had happened to me was a succession of bs events that took place.
The Story
so i was playing skirimish on the three point map with the really deep redline and was on the redlined team and after being murdertaxied i decided to call in my assault dropship. so i went as far as i could into my teams red line and called in a incubus and BORAS THE G** D*** BOLAS (RDV) DRIVER DECIDED THAT HES GONNA LAY OFF THE VODKA AND TRY CRACK COCANE TODAY. SO HE NOT ONLY FLEW IN A M***** F***ING CIRCLES FOR THREE MINUTES BUT FORGOT HOW TO USE THE G** D*** MAGNET TOO. so after BORAS finally drops my dropship i sprint literary 5 meters and then headshoted from 400 and M***** F***ING 1 meters within arms lengh of my dropship in my red zone by a Thales then to top it off some random blueberry steals my 600,000 dropship and after i spawned back i was forceed to be gunner on my own dropship and witness thi dumb M***** F***ER crash it into the ground.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a nova knife sentinel go 2/0 in a match. **** was great, got to see him one time slowly barrel towards an unsuspecting sniper. I had a headshot lined up, but I let the knifer take him out for the hell of it. Restored my faith in humanity. |

I have been in a proper DS repping HAVs squad before. We did it as a BSOTT Lab Rat Test. The first of them. I had my DS repairing armor on a Madrugar and Soma, but a Surya came up and bopped them both real quick, but never the less I did something.
