Sincerely, a player who is extremely tired of people crying that they specced into the FotM and it got nerfed.
Really. There is a new QQ-Thread every 2 hours. Can't they just use a single thread to whine?! |

They did refund SP back then too. I don't see how it is necessary to refund them once more. I mean you get SP all the time. Having spend some already doesn't keep you from speccing something else. I got aboput 6.5 Million SP in 3 months. That is more than enough to get a Protosuit. And 3 months is not really that long. Especially because people don't really need instant Protogear (and to be honest: You won't use it all the time, because it's too expensive anyways). So how do you want to justify respecs? It only encourages using the FOTM or it comforts the lazyness of people.
Also the supportskills like Engineering, Electronics, Shield, Armor and so on are something you only need to skill once. And this is what needs the most SP anyways. And everybody who doesn't skill this should really go back to the academy anyways.
So were talking about people wanting to respec because they want maybe about 2 million SP back to use another suit or they want 2 million SP back to spec into another weapon. Really? It takes maybe a month, 2 at max if you don't use boosters, to get 2 million SP. Why do you want to respec for that? |

Alabastor 'TheBlaster' Alcar wrote:i think that when all of the weapons and suits are released they should respec, is bullcrap that they didnt release all the guns and suits at launch but said no more respecs ever when all of the fukin content isnt even out yet, we are all basically glorified beta testers still.
And why should they give a respec when all the suits and weapons are released? Speccing one single weapon or suit to the maximum doesn't cost that much SP. If you don't like any suit so far just spend your points into support skills you always need, instead of speccing into suits you don't want to use. I mean we are all aware that more stuff will be added later. |

Morph Kni wrote:I just think that I should be allowed to invest my sp into what I want, NOT what you want or what CCP wants, ok? I thought that was part of the game? As for it not taking that much sp to get a weapon and suit to max I actually don't agree with that statement. I think one weapon and suit is about what just over 4mil? maybe 5? That's not too much I know but its still a good chunk of sp? So for you to say don't invest in the "top" stuff so that I don't have my equipment nerfed is bs, because as you should have been able to figure out is there is always a "top" gun, suit, whatever and I personally just get fed up with people bitching about it then having it absolutely desecrated. ie lazer rifle what a great gun to have in a game , specifically a game like this. Yet who in their right mind would skill into that junk now. Overall I don't even care about a complete refund or do I want to see them as they introduce the "new" equipment and etc into the game. All I want is to have my sp back when you take something any of us have spent sp into and screw with it. That goes for everything in this game. Tinker, alter, adjust go ahead, I don't care but don't let us suffer for your decisions your changes that's just not right. You change the tanks around then give the tankers the sp back, you nerf the assault rifle users then give them the sp back etc, I actually don't think this is that hard or wrong to want. Why would you ever say to someone paying to play your game, we don't want to accommodate, just deal with it? I guess I just see the Pro's side of things not the Neg's but that is a good thing to look at too. Would you guys be kind enough to help me list the pro's and cons?
Pro- Don't get stuck grinding more sp to try and get back what as just taken away from you Experience more of what the game has to offer, weapons, vehicles, equip etc. Choose what best fits "you" and "your" play style and if we change a weapon or suit or vehicle that was your style and it no longer is, your not forced to play "are" style
anyways Ill check back with more, but those who are against are respec when something is changed after you spent sp into it, please list your cons and what effect this has on the game. I would like to know why it would hurt dust514 to not have those sp refunded.
Your whole post just says one thing: you always wsnt to be able to spec the fotm. Also: it's your decision what you spec. Ccp isn't responsible if you spec a logi suit because you think it would make for a great assault suit. Grow up, life with your choices and play 3 months if you want to spec a new suit and weapon. |
