I just finished a match where my team finished 49 to 0 in a 50 kill ambush match.
That's disgusting. A full SI. squad vs newbies, matchmaking can't come soon enough.
As a side note, Foxhound Elite that dropship piloting was beautiful.  |

whoa whoa whoa there, buddy. I recall we smashed you lot plenty of times, but I guess the whole 'safety in numbers' when the big blue donut of EON just overwhelmed SI. Also, you try having a PC battle every 20 minutes, it isn't fun and get's too much. public matches there's not really any hassle! |

The only way to fix matchmaking is to replace it with a system based on security status of the system and then restrict gear accordingly. Let us go where we want to and if the battle is too much then we can move closer to 1.0 space. This provides a testing ground, training ground and place for the non-hardcore. Any other system will provide poor matches.
This is a sandbox that is being dished out in shovel fulls. Keep random matchmaking but make it null space where anything goes but segregate high sec systems so lower SP mercs, testers and inexperienced players can actually try things and learn in an environment that gives them a chance. Matchmaking is a pipe dream that needs to be flushed away with some other crap we have. |

I hate it as much as anyone else, but what do you expect? PC is bleh and FW is even more bleh. Squads/corps want to play the game, and I doubt anyone enjoys losing. The issue isn't as much with the players as it is the current matchmaking system as well as the other two bleh variants. |
