i wish u would give us a respec becouse u have changed the playstyle of 2 doupsuits and it also afectes the skills u will need to give a respec to let pople spec out of the droupsuit or u will be getting more complante from people saying that u did a big chang and wont alow a resec. i just want to resec into galenta scout suits and work on snipeing and not use the caldari logi any more. |

TROLOLOL, someone used FOTM. Anyway lad, this game is all about piling up SP. If you want to quickly have another role to play or other fit you're better of making a new account and gather the passive SP on it. |

Variety is the spice of life, but Dust lacks spice.
The design of the game is a grindfest (playing for SP instead of fun) that seems to be about forcing commitment, boxing you in whatever role you choose, and having to grind even more to get the SP to try something new. It doesn't really support flexibility, I suppose its a great way to get people to buy AUR to buy boosters to gt the SP to try other roles.
Many would claim that respecs would only encourage people to jump from one OP weapon or dropsuit to the next as soon as it gets nerfed so they always have an edge, but that would only be made possible because of CCP's poor balancing, not an actual problem with the respec idea itself. We make choices to specialize and skill into roles based on information available to us, but that information can easily be invalidated when things are rebalanced, its not like CCP has a published list of balanced and OP items to tell players what is safe to spec into anyway.
I personally don't want a respec, and I didn't need one when CCP did give that optional respec months ago; I'm very careful about how I spend my skill points, but on principle I believe respecs would be good for giving players flexibility, and to try different things and see what works best, and ultimately have more fun with the game. |

The scouts are the worst possible thing you could spec into, look at the slots an stats!
You will have half the CPU pg your logi has, die climbing rocks, you have one high slot, 80 stock shields, counter snipers will eat u alive! |

If you want a gallente sniper then either choose gallente Assault or Logi. Either way just go into gallente basic medium frames to test it out.
A high sp sniper can destroy sniper scouts especially low SP ones. |

They didn't change the playstyle. You basically just skilled into a Logi Suit because you thought it would be better to use it for an assault role. |

With a respec, this would basically cause us to flock to the FOTM. Of all the good this could cause, the evils with in it are far too great. A dev did comment on the idea of a "skill back booster"
Basically, you get a tier back from a skill you invested in. Far greater of a fix then just handing a soul all these points back, just to invest into the next flavor.
How ever, with balance being the main key here, this could be a small time thing you could point out to maybe let players reinvest into other skills. Maybe a different playstyle. This could be a thing to help CCP getting more figures on what is the overly efficient killer. The truly OP gear.
But making it an Aurum only piece hurts the players with limited income. Overall, the positives from this, doesnt out weigh the few but drastic negatives. |

They fixed just the massive misuse of cal logis and fixed them to fit in ther logi role.
