I look forward to hearing the reasoning behind this.
After 400wp will players be able to choose between instant battle and academy?
Do new players only get 5-10 wp per battle?
Do you hate new players?

I know i saw this aswell and thought WTF.
I thought that the academy was too short already for new bro's but 400 WP 
Hopefully they will release their reasoning soon.

And how you reach that conclusion ? The only thing this is going to do is provide Pubstompers with "fresh meat".
And by the way... I know lots of Pubstompers that will SUCK if their precious Proto equipment was taking away. |

ummm.. game is dead? say good bye to retaining new players.
Unless this is them in a sly way telling us academy is going out the door, and there is actually something good in the works to be released very soon that will help out all the new people understand this game much more at the start and be able to enjoy it. ( a man can dream right )

The is a sticky at the top of GD about their reasons for the change. Basically it states that they are trying out new ways of running people through the Academy. It may not be 400 WP in a few days I guess. |

eHP is not all, my cheap scout fit only have 300ehp and still do just fine. Militia and standard grade suits do just fine as long as there is no proto squads or experienced tankers on the opposite team. There will almost allways be milita grade players on both sides mixed with some vets and an occasional proto pub stomping squad.
I do not mind how many times you destroy my 5k isk suit and I laugh out loud whenever I blow up a proto squad member with my remote explosives knowing you cannot be revived. You will earn no isk from killing me. |

They removed a game mode (or merge them, whatever)
They reduced the WP limit for the academy.
I think it is to regroup the players, since the playerbase is too low to be spreaded out.
