Get a Soma, stack armor reps, stick 2 small blasters on, a CRU and a scanner, damage the enemy with your main blaster and let the blues in your tank finish them. Much better survivability and a chance to take down other tanks. Works 4 me...

If you wanna make sure you kill a sniper with one headshot hit, use the Charge sniper rifle. It will kill any suit with a charged headshot, I think.
